A holistic approach to life is more important than ever in these times and 100% grass fed beef suet fat is used to render into our tallow. Tallow is eco friendly and utilizes parts of animals otherwise disregarded. Sourced from small Northern California ranches, I hand render the fat to then create this amazing face cream.
Face Love is a decadently hydrating face cream made with 100% grass fed beef or lamb suet tallow, sourced from small local ranchers, organic rose hip oil, organic golden jojoba oil infused with calendula, Centella Asiatica, chamomile, red algae, tulsi and hibiscus flower.
Tallow is packed with antioxidants which assist in repairing and healing the skin. Tallow helps repair damage and has anti inflammatory properties.
The vitamins found in tallow are A, K, E, D and B12. This combination found in animal products allows for nourishment and rich moisturization. The omega 3 and omega 6 in tallow help provide the skin with a natural barrier and assist in skin structure.
Tallow closely resembles the natural oils the skin produces, called sebum, which further aids the compatibility. Tallow is non comedogenic- it wont clog your pores.
Organic rose hip oil Rose hip oil is rich in vitamins A, C, E and essential fatty acids. These fatty acids are anti-inflammatory and can improve signs of aging, pigmentation and moisturize the skin.
Organic golden jojoba is said to mimic our sebum very closely, it is like a liquid wax. Lightweight and fast absorbing, it penetrates down to the skin matrix potentially helping the skin absorb other ingredients more readily. Jojoba is super silky and one of my favorites.
Organically grown Calendula- Helps soothe and calm Irritated Skin. Helps hydrate and support the Skin barrier; helps Promote Healing and skin repair. Helps provide antioxidant protection and helps reduce sensitivity. Chamomile is antifungal and antimicrobial and aids in healing tissue. Good for cuts associated with acne
Organically grown Centella Asiatica - gotu kola - Promotes collagen production, helps with wound healing, reduces scarring, anti inflammatory, contains antioxidants that protect the skin from oxidative stress caused by free radicals, moisturizing and can help protect Against sun damage.
Organically grown Chamomile- Soothing and anti-inflammatory, Chamomile helps soothe redness, irritation, and breakouts. Its has calming and pain relieving effects. Anti-inflammatory helps with redness and is excellent for healing skin.
Wild crafted corallina officialis - red algae. The high concentration of calcium in this ingredient has been found to help regulate the lipid barrier process and cell turnover. This can help achieve a smooth, even complexion. The high mineral content, particularly calcium and magnesium, helps support skin health and structure.
Organically grown TULSI- rich in anti bacterial properties; Tulsi promotes cell renewal and this gets rid of acne scar marks and even tone the skin; help reduce inflammation
