A holistic approach to life is more important than ever and 100% grass fed beef suet fat is used to render into our tallow. Tallow is eco friendly and utilizes parts of animals otherwise disregarded. Sourced from small Sonoma County ranches, I hand render the fat to then create this amazing hand cream. All InnerLight products are made with 75% tallow. Hand healing is infused with organically grown st johns wort, comfrey and has organic oak moss absolute oil.
Hand healing was formulated to help heal over worked hands, dry parched hands, hands desiring healing and hydration. Perfect for those that work in the earth ie farmers, gardeners, animal care takers… For those that frequently wish their hands, this cream offers protection and healing.
Tallow is packed with antioxidants which assist in repairing and healing the skin. Tallow helps repair damage and has anti inflammatory properties.
The vitamins found in tallow are A, K, E, D and B12. This combination found in animal products allows for nourishment and rich moisturization. The omega 3 and omega 6 in tallow help provide the skin with a natural barrier and assist in skin structure.
Tallow closely resembles the natural oils the skin produces, called sebum, which further aids the compatibility. Tallow is non comedogenic- it wont clog your pores.
Organic golden jojoba is said to mimic our sebum very closely, it is like a liquid wax. Lightweight and fast absorbing, it penetrates down to the skin matrix potentially helping the skin absorb other ingredients more readily. Jojoba is super silky and one of my favorites.
St johns wort has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.The antibacterial properties of hyperforin play a crucial role in preventing bacterial growth on the skin, while the antioxidant properties support skin health by protecting it from damage caused by free radicals. St. John's Wort supports the body's natural healing processes, aiding in the recovery from skin injuries.
Comfrey has anti-inflammatory properties make it a perfect aid for calming irritated skin.It has the ability to speed up wound healing and is anti-inflammatory. Comfrey helps calm stressed skin, reduce redness, and alleviate irritation. It has potent antimicrobial, antifungal, and antiseptic properties and the anti-inflammatory, demulcent, and astringent properties combine to reduce swelling, soothe, protect, and tone inured, unhappy tissue. It also helps with joint pain.
Oak Moss Oakmoss has antiseptic properties, which help the skin rid itself of microbial growth. It has anti- inflammatory properties also support ridding the skin of irritations. Oak moss offers a gentle earthy scent and can assist in relaxing and grounding.
